Great location, good service, lovely atmosphere, and oh yea, BBQ ribs!! Its a beautiful day so I was happy for the option to sit in the courtyard! We enjoyed the fresh air and entertainment from the Mounted televisions. The atmosphere here is homestyle and warm which is what we were looking for! We tried the rib sampler from the platter portion of the menu. There were baby back, ribs tips, and spare ribs! There is a selection of sauces if you want to sauce it up at bit! I enjoyed the sweet honey and the original the most! The sampler could likely feed three people as the two of us had to get some boxes to go. We tried the beans and Mac and cheese to our delight. Noteworthy: Greens here are not your typical greens, but the server will explain it in depth so you can make an informed decision. The ribs were good, but not the best ribs I’ve tasted. They are smoky and very filling. However, for the amount of time we waited they weren’t as hot as we thought they’d be. It is a holiday and they were a bit busy so maybe they were waiting for a while before our server delivered them to our table. Nevertheless they were warm and good.

Great service, great food. We enjoyed the outdoor tables with family, including a four year old. Renee provided excellent service. Great ribs, burnt ends, and sides. I was particularly impressed with their collard greens. They were garlicky and cooked to perfection. Not a bit overcooked.

Great BBQ in the heart of the city! Live blues music every night. Don't get the meat platter its not worth the money. Its more like a meat sampler because the meat portions are so small. I got a half rib tips and the whole table was able to share it. Food is food we have been at least 3 or 4 times and will continue to go back.

Place feels like it was bought out by the corporates. Brisket was thinly sliced, green were just blanched and tasteless, and banana pudding had clumpy brown sugar on top that made it gritty. The beer cheese, cheese stuffed hush puppies were great. The meats were tasty, but portions smaller. Good not great anymore

Solid BBQ. We came on a Wednesday and had $6 burgers which tasted great. Their selection of sides tasted good too. We also ordered a rack of baby back ribs to share, but those were mediocre. The meat was tough in some places and not quite as fall-off-the-bone as other places. A solid choice, especially for their deals of the day!
